+# IDAS Exchange Regression

+This area is for exchange-side IDAS regression flows.
+
+## Current scaffold
+
+- `bidding/test_idas_exchange_bidding_flow.py`: starting point for the exchange bidding flow.
+
+## Config source
+
+This regression suite reads from the new regression config layer:
+
+- `config/runtime.json`
+- `config/runtime.json > users`
+- `config/runtime.json > IDAS`
+
+## Current runtime expectations
+
+- `execution.login_role` should be `exchange`
+- `execution.product_family` should be `IDAS`
+- `execution.flow_scope` can be `e2e` or `bidding`
+
+## Planned expansion
+
+As steps are finalized, we can add:
+
+- exchange bidding buy flow
+- exchange bidding sell flow
+- matching verification
+- report downloads
+- order book filters
+- trade book filters
